1. Present Status - As is Use Case

Directorate of Training and Technical Education is entrusted with the responsibility of providing trained technical manpower for the technological upgradation of industrial production, services, productivity and innovation, contributing to the planned growth of the country's economy. With a view to achieving the above objective, Department strives for systematic planning, development, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of programmes and policies relating to technical/vocational education. With the stress on the planned and systematic expansion for appropriate industrial growth of the National Capital Territory of Delhi, particularly in the context of globalisation and liberalization of economy, this Department has made significant strides in the field of technical and vocational education.
Presently, BTE issues Marksheets, Migration Certificates and Diploma Certificates to students manually for 11 governments, 6 privately managed institutes and 01 self financing aided institute. For any of six services, the students fills in hardcopy of the requisite form, get it verified from concerned institute and submit to the HelpDesk of BTE along with the required documents. Each of these services have pre-defined e-SLA. The HelpDesk sends the application form to Registrar and are further forwarded by Registrar to the concerned Branch/Section. The data of the students is fed in Foxbase based system for generation of softcopy of the required documents which is finally signed and stamped by Registrar/ Controller/ Asstt. Registrar. The students collect their documents from the concerned institute.

The whole processfor these six services will be digitized with a secured and scalable application.

3. Future State - To be Use Case

Digitization will enable the studentsbto get soft copy of the required services online after filling their request online.
